I think Biden remains the candidate.

I could be wrong, but I can't think of any realistic replacement candidate that gets added that'll do better than Biden. I do admit my election prediction confidence has dropped since the Resident has wandered into the hallway without his meds. (Kidding, we know he was old AF and I was very surprised they would ever let him debate... it backfired exactly as we expected)

Mr. Biden will be diagnosed with some medical disorder that can be used to make him look like a hero when he bows out.

The new guy candidate will promise to win one for the Big Guy.

The Big Guy will heroically press on into January.

I originally thought they always planned to have him retire at the convention (from the campaign), but the Ohio flub has moved the timetable up. Then I thought at the Virtual Roll Call…

Now? My bet is next Wednesday, the 17th, voluntary, and Kamala will be the VP candidate.
