Wonder who the Democrat nominee will be?

@George-K said in Wonder who the Democrat nominee will be?:
Ted Cruz claims that it will be Michelle Obama.
He put the chances at 80%, so he must have actual data to back that up.
Of course, it's well known that 72% of statistics are made up on the spot, and like evolution it's only a theory.

… the families of the children recently murdered by illegals. Trump has called every family...
Has Trump called the families of the children murdered by citizens and/or legal immigrants? Do these families not deserve his empathy?
That's so stupid it's unworthy of an answer.

It unveils the stupidity of the original claim. Trump doesn’t call them out of empathy, he does it to score political points.

Your TDS is showing.
During his Presidency, Trump routinely met with or called service families that had lost a loved one. It wasn't widely publicized. A picture occasionally, maybe the odd write-up.
Calling families whose loved one had been murdered by illegals has followed along much the same way. An occasional story, not much else.
Tell me...Did Biden call or meet with a single family of the thirteen service members who died during the debacle of the Afghanistan withdrawal? Has he met or talked with a single family whose daughter or child has been abducted, raped and murdered by illegal aliens?
Shucks, The Resident can't even get the names of the victims right.
The juxtaposition is a sharp and defining contrast.

Might depend what the polls say once we have a few days of research from post-debate impact. Seems highly risky for the dems to replace Biden with anyone at this point, but if Biden’s defeat is inevitable, I guess they could try.
I still think Biden beats Trump in November btw. But I’m slowly trying to shift my betting chips from the table into my pockets without the dealer noticing.

'It's a mess'
President Joe Biden is expected to discuss the future of his re-election campaign with family at Camp David on Sunday, following a nationally televised debate Thursday that left many fellow Democrats worried about his ability to beat former President Donald Trump in November, according to five people familiar with the matter.
Biden’s trip was planned before Thursday’s debate. He and first lady Jill Biden are scheduled to join their children and grandchildren there late Saturday.
So far, the party’s top leaders have offered public support for Biden, including in tweets posted by former presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton. Senior congressional Democrats, including Reps. Hakeem Jeffries of New York, Jim Clyburn of South Carolina and Nancy Pelosi of California, have privately expressed concerns about his viability, said two sources apprised of those discussions, even as they all publicly back the president.
This account of a president and his party in crisis just a little more than four months before an election they say will determine the fate of democracy is drawn from interviews with more than a dozen Democratic officials, operatives, aides and donors. All of them spoke on the condition of anonymity in order to describe matters as sensitive as whether a sitting president might give up his re-election bid and how he could be replaced on the ballot.
Despite delivering a rousing speech at a rally in North Carolina on Friday that calmed some of his allies, Biden was described by one person familiar with his mood as humiliated, devoid of confidence and painfully aware that the physical images of him at the debate — eyes staring into the distance, mouth agape — will live beyond his presidency, along with a performance that at times was meandering, incoherent and difficult to hear.
“It’s a mess,” this person said.
Another person familiar with the dynamics said Biden will ultimately listen to only one adviser.
“The only person who has ultimate influence with him is the first lady,” this person said. “If she decides there should be a change of course, there will be a change of course.”
After publication of this report, a source familiar reached out to stress that the Camp David gathering was not a formal family meeting.

40% of the country would vote for him if he was dead, as long as his name has a "D" behind it.
I'd do a couple of things, if I were Biden and wanted to stay in...
- DO NOT DO ANOTHER DEBATE! Do scripted campaign events and photo ops. Do morning events when rested and medicated. Send Harris to states you know you are going to lose.
- Pray that the legal system gets Trump.

lol. Whatever gossip makes Trump look bad, becomes gospel. Cites are pre-TDS concepts. From Snopes:
In sum, the claim stemmed from a story by The Atlantic, which relied on anonymous, second-hand reports of Trump's alleged words; there was no independent footage or documented proof to substantiate the in-question comments; and Trump vehemently denies that he once called service members "losers" and "suckers."
They left out of their summary all the people who were actually there who said he didn't say it, his Chief of Staff Kelly among them. People who would absolutely be honest about it if they had heard him say it.
While it was certainly possible that he said those things, Snopes was unable to independently verify the claim.
I guess it's also possible that Biden raped his daughter in the shower, but I'm unable to independently verify that claim.
