Debate tonight
-
Biden has reached the stage where the kids need to tell him to give up the car keys. Still, the Presidency is not one person. The Executive Branch is as effective as the people who are chosen to support the office. Every President is helped and hurt by the people chosen to head the various components of government. While Biden has bumbled some choices, I think that Trump's choices will not be as qualified as the last time he held office. They'll be chosen solely for loyalty to him.
At least we have a Supreme Court that let's public officials accept bribes - so long as it is after the official has provided the service. America's one percent has bought a responsive government.

Bullshit. Kamala Harris won.

Is it wrong of me to get such pleasure at watching the left implode?

Schadenfreude is the word, right?

Yeah. I've also seen "Schadenboner."
So, there's that.

By the way, is Biden speaking even older than he really is? Phrases like “Alley Cat” and malarkey make him sound 20 years older than he really is,

malarkey
It's his trademark word for bullshit.
Oh, I know, but again, it makes him sound even older. It sounds like an expression his dad or grandfather would have used.

Has the debate changed anyone's mind on whom to vote for comes the general election?
If it gives @Jolly some joy, during the first 20-30 minutes even I found myself thinking "I want Trump back in office, maybe I'll vote for him".

If Joe stays in office, I don't think he'd survive beyond 2026. If he stays out of office, he might last a few more years. I get no pleasure in saying this, sorry if I said it before, but Joe.... he has the "look/sound" of someone nearing the end. The froggy old person voice, the transparent hair where you can see freckles on his scalp, the shuffle walk, the beady eyes, the open mouth stare. It's bad.

Me too. Then he lost it. Didn't answer the questions before him, went back to his same old tropes.
