    It ain't gonna be Biden...

It’s hard to imagine Biden being functional in 2+ years. But I know plenty of voters just vote for the coalition Biden brings. As long as he can sign legislation he is adequate.

He's definitely slipping. He can thank his last win to COVID and not campaigning.

What's needed is an effort at government and election reform. Those in government have little (no) incentives to pursue such initiatives - and if they did, a future government would countermand the reforms.

I think the liberal MSM had a pretty good run, but they ditched any efforts at actual journalism in favor of bias and activism. In short, they've hurt their own brand.

              https://nodebb.the-new-coffee-room.club/topic/32196/media-thoughts

I think some people who haven't paid much attention to this, are going to be looking at the MSM with a more jaundiced eye after coming to the realization that they've been actively covering for Biden.

                Here comes.... HILLARY!

Just kidding. Michelle? Barack again? Maybe Bill Clinton who is younger than both Trump and Biden?

Crazy political times we are living in. Not that we didn't see this as a likely scenario... if they bring in someone like Newsome, it does give the dem party a chance to reset/change any Biden policies that weren't resonating with independents.

Michelle has zero interest in politics. Barry is prohibited. Clinton, though younger, is enjoying himself too much to get into this mess.

If they're going to replace him, my bet would be Newsom as well.

So here’s an even better question, who has been the actual executive for the last 3 years?

                            By the numbers

                            1. Biden is done
                            2. Kamala in unacceptable, she will resign
                            3. Gavin Newsom is sworn in as VP
                            4. Mr. Biden resigns
                            5. Mr. Newsom succeeds and gets the nomination
                            6. Mr. Trump goes to jail, no Secret Service
                            7. We all drive electric cars that don't work

Hahaha yes, not bad! If you look in that thread, George talks about Newsom not being interested "yet" and I mentioned the gaffes during the debates, at least he didn't fall asleep.

It's all contingent on Biden dropping out. I think there is something to be said for his handlers being attached to him. So, the people in a position to convince him to drop out, would be dropped out as well.
