I’ve got a rack of spare ribs smoking on the Weber (along with some drip pan rainbow potatoes) that should be done around 6. We had a late lunch where I grilled some burgers and vegetables over the hot part of the grill. I’m enjoying a glass of lemonade while finishing off the delicious peach pie that Karla and Finley made on Saturday, while listening to Queen on Apple Music.

So far today, Finley and I have worked on the garden, put together and filled his water table, and had several minor skirmishes in our epic water balloon battle.

Now we’re trying to decide whether to start assembling the new Grill Gazebo Karla got me, or head to the pool for an hour.

It’s a good day. What are you all doing?

I'm sitting in my office wondering where the hell my life went. Same as I do every other bloody Tuesday.

Still, not to worry, tomorrow is Wednesday. Another day closer to pay-day, retirement and death.

      I was only joking

I ate today after a 60 hour fast, so that was nice. Also got a few very nice figs off the trees.

No, I put the figs in the fridge if I'm fasting. I also had a bunch of figs from a couple days ago.

I'm at the oral surgeon's office, deciding who is going to cut a ceramic bridge before we pull a tooth.

              Whoopee! 😅😂🤣

My day is quite similar to @Doctor-Phibes.

Somewhat hot yesterday and today, so likely another pool visit with the kids later.

Tomorrow's forecast is beautiful so I hope to get outside during some work breaks and cut back a number of bushes and tree limbs that decided to eat steroids for the last few weeks.

I've also been thinking about some of life's bigger questions.

What do they do with the dough they take out of the middle of the donut? They could probably feed Africa with it if they managed it carefully. Well, bits of Africa.

Also, how much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

I think I may be destined for upper management soon. It's been a long time coming, but I sense this might be my year. Just last week my boss said I was a stupid, lazy, good-for-nothing. So I'm over-qualified.

Oh man, do not watch how they make sandwiches at Jimmy Johns. They rip out the inside of the bread and THROW IT AWAY. Bothers me every time, I would NOM that bread, no problem.

Just bought first of the year local corn today. Picked this morning. Will serve with grilled shrimp skewers.

Well, the grill gazebo is a piece of crap that’s going back. Started unpacking the box and it was obvious the box had been repacked and returned to the vendor. As I started putting the parts together, I could see scratches where somebody had put it together and taken it apart. On top of that, I could easily see why they had sent it back. The thing is a piece of cow dung.

It's been a shitty, shitty, Tuesday.

Details to follow in the next few days in a new thread.
