Hay George! Incoming storm

When I went to bed last night they warned of possible severe storms (hail, winds, etc) because of the heat. I was up twice with the 1 year old and each time I checked the radar, I saw the storms materialize just east of my location, and I watched it grow to a quite large storm as it hit Wisconsin...
Just checked now... looks like a trailing band is going to hit the Chicago area in the next hour. Stay safe!
Nothing like these large and/or straight-line storms that feed off the summer heat to really wake you up.
(and yes, for others in the area...I care about you too)
