This "debate" will be right up there with listening to a Hillary Clinton speech - keep the Tums handy - and leave the room frequently for any reason - snacks, drinks, check the weather outside, sort through which circuit breakers work with which outlets, etc.

I would dig up as much dirt as possible on Corn Pop.

Mr. Trump will say something that is remarkably unpleasant, but true.

Mr. Biden will talk make talking sounds for at least 45 seconds using no English words at all.

The question is who will do it first.

And is there a pre-determined way for handlers to throw in the towel and end the debate immediately?

Regardless, the event will stand as a reminder to those trying to watch as to the benefits of the power of positive drinking.

I think this one will need a reverse drinking game.. You stop drinking when Joe doesn’t stare blankly off stage. You stop drinking when Trump is talking about himself…

I’m all for the ethanol, but I’m also all in for not getting Alcohol poisoning. If you drink every time Trump praises himself or insults everybody else, if you drink every time Biden has a weird blinking thing going on (either not blinking at all or blinking every second), you will be unconscious in 5 minutes.

I remember when Ross Perot was in the debate. Afterward he said that some geniuses counted how many times the candidates blinked.

More blinks meant less truth. Fewer blinks meant more truth.

Clinton and Bush had lots of blinks, Perot almost none.

It wasn't truth, it was nerves.

Ross Perot may be a lot of things, but nervous he isn't. That's the word from Boston College neuropsychology professor Joe Tecce, who says he can tell how edgy a person is by how often he blinks. A "normal" blink rate for someone speaking on TV, Tecce says, is 30 to 50 blinks per minute. Amazingly, Perot averaged just seven bpm in the first presidential debate and 11 in the second. Such a low rate suggests Perot was extraordinarily confident and in control. In contrast, George Bush was decidedly more stressed, with bpm averages of 48 and 55. Bill Clinton started out a bit nervous (43), but his comfort level rose strikingly in the second debate (34). Perot blinked the most while discussing healthcare costs (15). Bush peaked at Yugoslav ethnic cleansing (64), and Clinton topped out on the character issue (67).

Haven't read the rest of this thread yet but.... there will be SO many moments when Trump is speaking that the camera will cut to Biden and he'll either have his standard surprised/speechless "fake smile" looks or the surprised "confused" look.

How do you prepare? I'm sure Biden's team is preparing him somewhat normally, and yes very afraid of what he might say in a tangent. Trump I doubt is preparing at all. He is skilled in this environment.

And annexing Mexico? It's amazing what the candidates could say and be chalked up to "oh that's normal to expect" whereas in the 90s, the biggest debate blunder EVAH was when one of the candidates looked at his watch.

Biden has flown 16 advisors to Camp David for debate coaching.

Or, as Gutfeld said, "That's a lot of pallbearers".
