      I am not familiar with most of the those. I know that 1917 was recently mentioned here, and I hope to watch it soon.

      One movie set in World War 1 that I thought was quite good was Joyeux Noel

        Paths of Glory is quite good. It and All Quiet On the Western Front are my picks for must-see, if you don't watch any of the rest of them.

          Thanks! I will take a look for those. I do see that there is a remake of "all quiet on the western front" on Netflix.

            Not really a WWI movie, but this list reminded me of Legends of the Fall, which has a few WWI scenes. What a great movie, and amazing score (soundtrack). Plus it has @Jolly 's fav gal in it: https://nodebb.the-new-coffee-room.club/topic/21162/not-the-megastar
