‘Cleaned up’ is a strange euphemism though no doubt the Nazi’s used something to that effect to describe their effort.

Not just the Nazis… European Jews were regularly seeing their ghettos getting “cleaned up” for hundreds of years.

You know, black culture takes pride in being ghetto… Has anyone ever told them that ghetto literally means the area set aside for the Jews to live in? I mean, in a way, Israel is as ghetto as it gets….
