One of the reasons a spring football league will have problems. The women's and men's college baseball playoffs are staggered a bit, so you've got almost a month of playoff softball/baseball that includes a world series final tournament at the same location each year.
There is a lot of parity and a lot of good games.

EDIT: Yeah, the home plate ump calls her "out."
She threw to first because it got the runner (who was on first, running to 2nd base) out for a double play.
