Chicago continues to solve its problems

DA Kim Fox won't prosecute crimes anymore if the evidence was the result of a car search initiated at a traffic stop. She wants to reduce traffic stops in general.

This is in response to the cops killing a guy who, during a traffic stop, fired at police officers. I think we talked about that incident here.

Fox is stepping down as States Attorney in C(r )ook County. Her protege lost her election to someone who is much more focused on prosecuting crime.
