Speedy little bugger. Maybe Border Collie on one side?

    I think you're right.

Shelties are that fast and border collies ain't no slouch. Had a border collie that routinely ran squirrels down. Had a sheltie that hated cats. She once caught the barn tom walking across the back yard. The dog took off like a brown blur, knocked the cat flying and jumped on the cat while the tom was trying to right himself.

That tom was on his back, claws a ripping. Or trying to. That sheltie was so fast she was using her paws to bat his away. Y'all have seen how fast a cat can move. The sheltie was faster.

The dog looked a little smaller than a sheltie or border collie. Looked to be about 30-35 lbs.

That's pretty good sized for a sheltie. They run 15-45.

I've had two shelties, both female. One about fourteen pounds and one about twenty-two.

Yeah, she was small. 12”. Border Collies at 20” normally win. The owner/trainer has a Border Collie that won last year.
