Looking at Amazon (because it's Friday), the claim is they're ionizing the water with electrolysis.
I bet it works even better if you use de-ionized water.
Apparently, drinking water is good for you. Least-ways, if you don't drink any, you get sick.

Then you need to buy trace mineral drops for $40 to put all the minerals you just filtered out back into your water…
