Looks like plan A will have to suffice. Khaleesi sounds pretty cute and is definitely not an AI.

Thank you for wishing me as well:)Horace, I absolutely love helping our customers get the product at the best price. However, the product that you are looking at on Amazon website is being sold by a third party seller: Deals4Less (SN Recorded) . Our Price Match policy doesn't cover the products that are sold by third party sellers on a qualifying retailers website as we wouldn't be able to validate the authenticity and the manufacturer' warranty coverage for the products.
I appreciate you taking your time on finding out another website which has the item for a cheaper price, however I am sorry to disappoint you, as the deal doesn't fall within our price match policy.

I see. My mistake. Thank you anyway.

The Best Buy web site doesn't specify 3rd party seller...
-
Their terms do specify it. Although I'm not sure how you define a 3rd party since it seems like everything on Amazon is via 3rd party? ANYWHO... it looks like Samsung does control that price at $549 nearly everywhere, so I'm not sure how Deals4Less can list it for $341 or whatever. Anyway, hope you have an amazing day ahead!

Guess I found my own answer from Amazon:
How do I know who is a third party seller on Amazon?
If you want to check whether a seller is a third party or Amazon itself, look for the “sold by” line among the product information. If the information there is anything other than “Amazon”, you've found yourself a third party seller. -

I wonder if they buy "stolen" merchandise? I have read that there are companies like that. They dont admit they are buying stolen merchandise, but they also dont ask where their sellers got it from.
"Hey, I have 20 monitors from a store that went out of business."
"Oh okay. We will give you $200 for each!"
"Sounds good to me!!"
Then they resell for $341

That's a BMFM.
Why did you go with the mounting arm rather than the (presumably) included stand?
The included stand didn’t change height or angles. The previous version that broke had a nice stand. The stand on this one is an afterthought. The VESA mount makes it easy to use a good one.

I've been considering something like that, but my desk doesn't have a handy spot to mount the arm. The desktop has only about 1 inch of clearance from the side of the desk.
There’s a grommet attachment too. Probably not useful for you either though.

Cool monitor! All the better to read my posts with.
I'm actually putting off reading your posts until I get an even better monitor, maybe in several years or more. The riches that await me are untold!
The way I see it, good conservative Trump voters like you and me are givens. I try to keep tabs on the "other side", as it were.
