Imagine a hacker makes a small number of iOS/Android phone “think” that their owners are pandemic-of-the-day “positive,” and let the rest of the system precipitate a panic.

I'll opt out of any alerts. I might be willing to let track in the abstract, but I don't need to know every time I was within 20 feet of somebody who was within 20 feet of someone that tested positive for COVID 2 weeks later. The tool is valuable for analytics and dangerous for hypochondriacs that need to get back to work.
