Do you like her? Is Luke still thinking medical school?

    1. Yes, but does it matter if we like her?

    2. He’s planning on a 2-year Certified Anesthesia Assistant program.

Plan his courses accordingly and still take the MCAT if possible.

If he might happen to get in...The marriage probably wouldn't make it, but M.D. stays behind your name a long, long time...

My first marriage didn't survive medical school...

    Just sayin'.

What Mik and George both said, it matters very much.

Having a spouse that's not around because of work commitments is a big deal - especially when it involves weekend and overnight absences.

Interesting. It was nothing but wanting to go to dinner.

@Horace would love the mother. The very image of liberal woman.

The daughter is on the verge of being one of the liberal kids. I’ve seen Lucas talk her back from a few of her positions, though.

They are everywhere, you cannot escape them in normal interactions in a normal life. The strident judgmental conservative types, on the other hand, are nowhere to be found but in horror stories on the internet.

                Education is extremely important.

                  That's encouraging...

My wife was a democrat voter until we met. I didn’t convince her, it was more that she just followed her college friends until she thought about issues for more than 1 second.

You can be smart and liberal of course, but so many young voters follow the trend instead of critically thinking.

Mrs. Phibes was a conservative when I met her. After 26 years of marriage she's to the left of me. I suspect it's because she now sees the value of Stalinist purges.

                      I was only joking

Did you share space with a Thatcherite?

Thank you for your attention to this matter.
