Two Days in Napa
-
Nice weather day 1, we went to Stags’ Leap (the original).

Day two was one from Mik’s list that I didn’t know, Cliff Lede. My stylist (left) chose a rather jaunty hat for me.

The owner of this place is a huge classic rock fan and has a 9 figure net worth. So he collects signed guitars. The last one has a interesting collection of signatures.

I like doing only one winery a day. I’ve been with friends that wanted to do 2 or even 3. It’s fun in its own way but more like a bar crawl than a tasting.
We stayed at the Vintage House in Estate Yountville and went to the spa both mornings. Great way to spend a couple of days

She has nice shades. Not all vision-impaired people do.

'Cuz Bless her, she must suffer from some malady of the eye, to be such a beautiful woman with such a tall spider-monkey of a man...

So tell us about her. What does she do? Kids? What's her phone number?

Ha. No kids. She’s from Peru.
She works as a private chef for a wealthy family. She used to own a restaurant in Lima. She’s lived in several countries, including an earlier stint in Boca Ratón a decade or so ago.
Her English is, shall I say, still improving, so we communicate in Spanish. I like it, I haven’t used Spanish so much in 25 years.
