Why anyone would think Trump would select Tulsi Gabbard is beyond me.
On second thought, don’t ask.

If he does, she'll need a good pair of running shoes. Maybe she can get gold ones.

Do you honestly believe that it’s worse than Vivek Ramaswamy?

The Noem and DeSantis inclusions surprise me. Both had issues and fights with him during COVID. The biggest problem DeSantis had with his campaign was not attacking Trump hard enough over COVID and the money printing…

Not at all.
I just don’t think she would be the passive sycophant he expects.

DeSantis: "I'm not interested."
“People were mentioning me [as a potential vice president]. I am not doing that,” DeSantis told Republicans his presidential campaign had recruited to be delegates to this summer’s nominating convention during a thank-you call, audio of which was shared exclusively with The Post.
The 45-year-old also went in-depth about who he thinks Trump could and should choose as his No. 2.
“I know some people are really actively seeking it. It seems to me, just from watching kind of the body language and stuff, that you have a handful of folks who seem to be auditioning for it,” he said.
“I think my criteria [for running mate] was different than what probably Donald Trump’s criteria will be,” the governor added.

Yup. Ramaswamy is not that brown because he's Indian.

Maybe she would be........
Once a prominent backer of the leftwing senator Bernie Sanders, on Thursday she was greeted by far-right activists with a standing ovation and a group of supporters brandishing gold letters that spelled T-R-U-M-P.
Such is the journey of Tulsi Gabbard, a former Democratic congresswoman and presidential candidate who has an entire Wikipedia page devoted to her “political positions” and is now seen as a possible running mate for Donald Trump.
There are few better examples, critics say, of how the Trump era has scrambled the ideology not only of the Republican party but opportunists seeking media cachet and a book deal.

I could see Trump giving Gabbard, Nikki Haley’s old job as US Ambassador to the U.N.. In that way she be under leash to the Sectretary of State whoever that is, although I would not be the least bit surprised to see Trump bring back Mike Pompeo in the top diplomat role.

That implies that there’s a legitimate shot that he wins.

I considered whether it was autocorrect or sarcasm, but the meaning was the same in both cases.

@taiwan_girl silly question, but how are you so in tune with US politics, just this forum? It’s very impressive but I have no idea what I’d expect if I were born and living abroad.

@89th This board in its topics is pretty diverse, but for politics, the focus is (mostly) on the US.
I am not native born but a US citizen also, so it is interesting.
The US influence and power is much greater than its population % as compared to the world total population.
Plus, I guess I just like current events. LOL
