Either way, I'd be interested to hear what Putin has to say.

I have no doubt that it will be Putin’s own version of what he has convinced himself is the gospel truth. The Gospel according to Putin.

It will be an event of epiphanous proportions for his budding disciple FuCa.

FuCa says the interview is a go:

Carlson added that he paid for the trip to Russia himself, and wanted to do the interview because "most Americans are not informed" on the conflict which is "reshaping the world" - blaming the mainstream media.

      https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-68223148

So be prepared to be informed, America.

        https://www.forbes.com/sites/brianbushard/2024/02/06/tucker-carlson-confirms-hes-interviewing-vladimir-putin-in-moscow-ending-days-of-speculation/?sh=377ec7b9557b

Seems irony that he says the following because that is probably what his interview will be:

Carlson said in his video that U.S. outlets have conducted “scores of interviews with Ukrainian President [Volodymyr] Zelensky,” which he called “fawning pep sessions, specifically designed to amplify Zelensky’s demand that the U.S. enter more deeply into the war in Eastern Europe and pay for it.” Carlson bashed those interviews as “government propaganda” that is “of the ugliest kind—the kind that kills people.”

I'm interested to know how this is going to go. Will he have the balls to actually ask tough questions? If he does his typical giggly routine with the guy, that would be really disgusting.

          I was only joking

Agreed. All those people shouting "Traitor!" were silent when real journalists interviewed other monsters (Peter Arnett, Christian Amanpour (sp?), Barbara Walters).

If he can ask some tough and uncomfortable questions, it might be worth a watch.

If, OTOH, he discusses Taylor Swift, well....

Kremlin confirms the interview has taken place. Though no credible word on its substance:

Guess we’ll have to wait and find out.

                    @George-K

The EU itself has done nothing of the sort. One member of the European Parliament did however, make a statement to that effect:

Guy Verhofstadt, a member of the European Parliament, has suggested the possibility of imposing a travel ban on Carlson for being a “mouthpiece” of Putin, who is considered a war criminal by the EU. The potential sanctions are related to EU policies against individuals assisting war criminals….

I suggest that FuCa fans sit down, smoke a joint and chill out.

Carlson goes off the rails frequently enough, and I'll reserve judgment on this interview until I see what the "MSM" says about it see it for myself.

But, in the meantime, despite the hysteria, this....

Interesting that on Monday the Russians wheeled out their Ambassador to the UN, Vassily Nebenzia, for an interview with the BBC’s Stephen Sackur 48
hours before FuCa talks to Putin. In a real world it should be Sackur interviewing Putin. But then he would ask the contentious and hard questions. Besides, most Americans don’t follow foreign English language news sources anyways unless they’re connected to the Murdoch family.

Still the interview with Nebenzia is telling. He plays the victim just as well as Putin will play it with FuCa.

Worth the 23 minutes, it will set the stage for the main event coming your way in the next day or two:
