There are rumors of Stefanik as well.

      True.

But if Trump can just peel off some of that black vote...

Over governor? After Trumps animosity? Nah.

            Agreed.

Supposedly (too lazy to look) Trump was gracious in accepting DeSantis' support.

If DeSantis has a brain in his head, and I think he does, he'd distance himself from Trump as far as possible, while maintaining some political cover.

It took Reagan a couple of tries as well before he made it. DeSantis is young and competent.

The problem is probably half of DeSantis' voters will go to Trump, and half to Nikki (aka anti-Trump). Whereas if Nikki dropped out, all of her voters would go to DeSantis (anti-Trump). Oh well, at least it gives Nikki a very slim chance, but it's hard to see her winning the majority in each state...

Will find out tomorrow. Here are the poll averages for the past week (before DeSantis drops out).

And here is SC as of Jan 17-18:

                                  Trump: 64
                                  Haley: 25
                                  DeSantis: 8

There are so many people who hate Mr. Trump, Ms. Haley should stick around just in case any of them succeed in knocking him out of the race.
