The crowd was even chanting "VP! VP!" I think. Good speech overall, I liked the opening line about so much focus on diversity and differences that we've forgotten to focus on what makes us the same. Good stuff.
I can see the Trump/Vivek sign now.

And the Bee runs afoul of the wokees..
Also makes you wonder, if Vivek gets 7-Eleven, what will Nikki get?

Seriously - complaining that it was in poor taste?
What other kinds of taste are there?

You know, just as we said would happen (like 2016) Trump will win as the rest of the field is fractured for the non-Trump vote. Imagine if it was just Nikki or Ron, the primaries would be closer to a 55/45 split which would change the dynamics BIGLY in NH and other primaries soon.

Nope.
Trump has 40% of the vote that would run through a brick wall for him (BTW, that's not an original statement). To think that anybody will defeat him in the GOP primaries was drug induced nonsense.

Not saying they would beat him. But I saw a lot of people at the caucus interviewed saying they were voting for him because they knew he would win Iowa. If some of those folks saw a candidate at 40 or 45%, there’s motivation to try to get a non-Trump candidate across the finish line.
Trump will win the nomination and lose the election again. I doubt he’s gained any more supporters since his sore loser tantrum after his landslide loss in 2020. I suspect voter turnout will be lower than 2020 but with an overall similar electoral result.
-
If voter turnout is lower, I think Trump wins. I think his bloc of voters is just more enthusiastic and committed.
Biden's basement strategy was a one-off in the middle of a pandemic. I don't think even Dr. Jill is excited to vote to reelect The Resident...

I think they’re getting Kerry positioned. Kerry might well beat Trump. I’m not convinced Biden can, nor do I want him to.

I think they’re getting Kerry positioned.
I assume (hope) that both parties are trying to get someone new positioned.
Whichever party can find a reasonable person with some common sense will win, easily.
Kerry isn't the guy (80 years old), although he could win.
It has to happen soon, the clock is ticking.
