Excellent seats for Steelers @ Bills are available for ~ $200, cheap seats for $100, and visitor sideline at the 45 yard line for $300… Why so cheap you ask? Apparently they are forecasting 20 degree temps with constant wind at 20MPH and frequent gusts up to 50MPH. Oh, and now it looks like a band of lake effect snow may hit exactly at game time dropping 4-5 inches per hour…
It sounds WONDERFUL! That’s what Football is supposed to be!

In college, I used to walk from my friend's house to attend the Wildcats games at
Dyche StadiumRyan Field. One particularly cold day the game was broadcast on ABC. After freezing our asses off during the first half, we said, "Screw it. Let's go back to your house and watch the second half."It was more comfortable, had a better view of the plays, and we enjoyed a (not too) cold one (or three) at his home.

No question that sitting at home and watching on the couch is generally a better viewing experience. Heck, if the snow hits, you likely won’t even be able to see the field at the stadium… But you won’t be a part of the experience.

Many have experienced that. Shackleton comes to mind.
But there wasn’t football… And authentic Buffalo Wings….
-
Now the Governor of NY is conspiring to make me buy the tickets…

@Jolly gets part of it…

By the way, Pittsburgh is a 10 point dog. I’m not a gambler, but if I were I would put Luke’s college fund on that one…

Tickets at the 45, 3 rows back are now at $208… Karla gave me the go ahead, but it was kinda ominous the way she said it…
Of course I have to get there… 1-3 feet predicted…

It’s sorta like she views this as chips… she doesn’t really want Luke and I to go, but she also doesn’t want me y to have this as a point for a future debate, and she also knows that if I go, she gets a point for a future debate…

"Debate," LOL.
She's a smart lady.

Question....If you have cheap seats and very few people show up, could you move to more expensive seats after the game starts?

By the rules? No. In practice? It happens, I’m sure. I wouldn’t. Not for something like this. Too easy to get caught and get the boot…

The game of marriage.

D2 and I attended a concert at Ravinia Park two years ago. It's an outdoor venue for musical performances. It has a picnic-like feel to it, with people hanging out on the lawn, enjoying picnic meals, wine, and music over speakers.
However, the pavilion is a covered part, with seats that are more expensive. Think outdoor concert under a roof.
When we got our seats, by concert time, there were many better seats unoccupied. I'd guess that at least a third of the seats in front of us were vacant. We considered moving up at intermission, but, yeah, you're right, we might have gotten booted out.
