Purpose: Trans Equity Consulting is a firm comprised of 6 black and Latinx transgender and non binary individuals with a combined 20 years of experience working to end stigma, uplift community, and provide access to resources in real time to combat social determinants of health with an emphasis on healthcare access for black and Latinx transgender and queer communities across the United States and Latin America. We are currently supporting 15 organizations in program development and content dissemination across 10 jurisdictions. Trans Equity Consulting approach to our work is holistic and intersectional recognizing that we cannot parse out one decision made by an individual from the full context of their life and so we must be providing and linking to information, resources and assistance across multiple needs. With COVID 19 and the shift to a virtual format we have been able to expand our community connection not just across zip code but to include individuals with disabilities who may have otherwise been unable to attend in person events.https://www.transequityconsulting.com
