Yikes. Sometimes there's a debate if the tail strikes when it gets so close, but I think flames/sparks is a good indicator.
Tail tiedown eye bolts get knocked off pretty regularly.
It's sad to say, but I've seen instructors knock off more eyebolts than students. Usually while demonstrating a soft-field takeoff.
