You are talking about the lawyer movie, right? Funny you should mention this, as I actually just finished reading the book! I will have to watch the movie now.

Yup, the lawyer movie. I think you'll enjoy the movie. Sometimes I'll listen to the soundtrack in the background while doing work... I even have some of the sheet music (the soundtrack is nearly entirely piano solo) for some of the catchier tracks.

Yeah, me too. I wanna say 1998-2000 or so. I went through a Grisham phase. But as a friend said, "Most novelists have only one story in them, and they just keep retelling it, altering the details and cast."

I've been listening to the soundtrack on loop as I work lately. Forgot how much I enjoy these tracks. Keep in mind they all tie in with each other, melodically.

• The Firm (main title), this captures the pure feeling of the movie
• Ray's Blues, absolutely love the final few bars and final chord. Overall, relaxing to listen to.
• Memphis Stomp, would love to learn this one day. The single-low note starting around 1:38 for nearly a minute until it breaks out around 2:35 is just fun

I read The Firm when it first came out. For a few months it seemed like everyone was reading it.

Sort of like DaVinci Code, speaking of authors who rewrite the same story over and over.
