I always liked @jon-nyc suggestion as to how to make and remember a password.

I rarely need a password on a public computer any more, so I just let the password manager in my Mac/iphone/ipad handle it.

I use the TNCR financial account password thread.

            What was his suggestion?

While I do have many saved passwords, I use a pattern that helps me remember them while still being complex/secure. Even if someone figured out one password, they couldn't figure out the others (hopefully).

Pick a phrase that you can easily remember: I've enjoyed the New Coffee Room since 2006.

Take the first letter of each word and capitalize one:

              Ietncrs2006

So now you have the requisite number of letters, one capital, and numbers.

              Now add a special character:

              Ietncrs2006#

Then add the first 3-4 letters of the URL of the site.

              Ietncrs2006#nod

Ha! My pattern is very similar in concept.

Put your password under a spoiler here and then let us all guess, to see who wins!

No way, not falling for that trap again! I still haven't recovered from the Costco spending and return spree you went on after guessing my last password of 89andKenny4evah

I've had a system for creating passwords for a very long time. The only time anyone ever got one was when I logged into Netflix on a hotel TV.
