Things are complicated.
Everyone feels this deep angst, weird combination of grief, anger, solidarity, optimism and concern.
Like I said, complicated.
We have a some injured soldiers. Had a death yesterday in the ICU. 22 yrs old. Shrapnel in heart and was on ecmo and lingered for 48 hrs before succumbing.
But we will prevail. On that I have no doubt.

@bachophile still has to be hard to see that in one so young. I'd imagine the situation dredges up every emotion one could think of. Complicated indeed.
