I am long past the running for my life stage. It's all up to castle doctrine.

          Evade a professional military?

I'd send Aqua's sister out to distract them and make my escape on a bicycle dressed as a French onion seller. It would almost certainly give me more chances than hiding in the mountains.

Clearly those guys are rank amateurs. Maybe I should start making my own series with some helpful tips for the more sophisticated viewer.

Another great idea is to dress up as a humble washerwoman and make your escape before returning to your ancestral home to evict the weasels and stoats who have made their home there.

I can still do 4-state in 24 hours.

Under certain conditions I might make it.

Well, here's what I mean by "under certain conditions":

A lot of tracking isn't reading woo from the trail, a lot of it's logistics. What's the easiest or most logical way a person went from A to B? Then you look for evidence that they did that thing. So, if you go the logical way when you're being chased, you run the risk of everyone following you predicting what you'd do. You go a way intended to throw them off, now you're in "you're going to draw attention to yourself" territory. Ain't no way I'd be able to cover my tracks adequately. So my best bet is to outhike 'em. And I do hike fast. I've never had a problem keeping up with anybody and I always have to slow down for others. I've always been that way. I can't sprint to save my life but I can cover ground. 4-state challenge is about 47 miles with moderate elevation in 24 hours. Never had a problem, it's fun.

But then there's ALL the other shit involved: how far out do I have to go here? How many people are following me? What kind of shit do I have with me? What kind of shit do I need based on what's going on? Wha do they have? Etc. etc. etc.

IF it was familiar territory AND the hiking was under about 150 miles AND I had what I needed AND this wasn't happening in the winter AND about 50 other things I don't even understand, then yeah, maybe.

                        Likely not.

                        Please love yourself.

It would be easy to evade the US military. Just misgender them and they’ll melt down.
