I spend a good 20 minutes in The Situation Room this morning.

    It was quite the situation.

@Doctor-Phibes With the emphasis on sit, of course.

But seriously - when was the last time you heard anything about the Syrian civil war?

I haven't been paying attention, and not to hijack the thread, but I didn't realize Biden actually stands in front of a "bidenomics" poster. I figured it was a pejorative term. I guess it's both.

Biden is desperately trying to spin the term. Just notice all the crap Ax throws against the wall, trying to blow smoke up our collective asses about how good the economy is.

If they can just get past the election, is the thinking...

Now carry on with the original thread.

Our military was attacked and we are debating the marketing of the phrase Bidenomics? SMH.

Oh, I think most of us thought our military would and will be attacked. The questions boil down to:

              1. Who is actually doing it?
              2. Who is funding it?
              3. What are they trying to accomplish?
              4. What are we going to do about it?

Personally, I feel much of this funding is coming from Iran. I think we should destabilize the leadership of the country through elimination of as much of the leadership as possible, along with economic warfare.

Funny you ask that. Depending how you think about it’s either simmering or ticking down to explode:

For several years, Russia has set itself the joint mission with Iran of pushing the United States out of Syria—and ideally out of the entire Middle East. Yet Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine and subsequent growing alignment with Tehran have actually had the opposite effect: the U.S. presence in the region is growing.

Indeed, Washington finally has a clear justification for continuing its campaign in Syria. The more Russia gets entangled in the Middle East, the more challenging it becomes for Moscow to handle Ukraine.

In addition to Russia’s confrontation with the United States, the situation inside Syria itself is escalating, and Russia is also dealing with the problems of integrating the remaining Wagner mercenary troops into the Russian armed forces following the dismantling of Wagner and dramatic death of its leader, Yevgeny Prigozhin. These growing difficulties are turning the war-torn country into a headache for Moscow and undermining hopes that Syria would not distract the Russian leadership from the war in Ukraine.

Think that's bad? I heard Biden is shipping some Bidenbullets to the military to fight Hamas.
