Yup, just east of Denver, great hilltop brew pub happy hour place, 45 degrees, gas fireplaces, hot apple cider

I recognized the sky-line. I loved it there, except I seemed to get quite a bit drunker than normal when I had a couple of beers.

      I was only joking

We were in Denver back in 2019. Nice city, but, other than the mountain views, nothing really special. To really appreciate Colorado, you have to go about 50 miles west.

Though, I have to admit I had a really good burger with spectacular fries in Denver.

Speaking of Denver food, I had the world's worst pizza in Denver, if you recall.

Denver is also close to the highest paved road in the US. It goes up to 14K feet. And then you can walk (or struggle to walk) up another 400(?) feet to the top of the peak.

It was like 70 F at the bottom and about 30 F at the top.

TG, I'm so glad to see you able to vacation so much! Good job, good food, good everything!!
I speak for everyone here: next time I want to see ear muffs, a hat, a warmer coat, and please let us see whether you are wearing hiking boots and warm socks. And soup. you must have soup to avoid catching a cold.
Thanks for the pic TG, always fun to see where you travel.

@Rainman Sorry Rainman, I was a little bit confusing. That picture was taken about 1 year + one week ago.
