I was very hesitant to open this thread. Glad it’s sweet.

By the way, that rocking chair in the background?

It was Mrs. George's GRANDMOTHER'S. Probably 120 years old. Boris likes to sit on it.

Believe me, Boris would be the loser in such a confrontation.

You damn well better believe it. Mom was changing the water bowl in my cage last week.

            Google this: subungual hematoma.

            I won...again.

              Asshole...

But, on another note, we took Sid to the vet last week.

For a middle-aged parrot (26) he's doing well. He's gained about 100 grams in 8 years, but, considering he's middle aged, a 5% weight gain isn't bad. Bloodwork is all OK.

Cat vs parrot? No question the cat is the loser.

                  Yup.

Remember though Sid is a "parrot," he's two pounds of beak, feathers and wings. The only thing that could save Boris is if his reaction time is faster. Cats have a reaction time of around 40 msec.

                  Fast enough? I dunno.

Maine Coons are big house cats and lighting fast. Mine picked a sparrow out of the air in my old house after it flew in down the fireplace chimney and into the living room. Seconds later when I got to the cat all I could see were tail feathers sticking out of his mouth. But it was a small sparrow. I doubt the same success would have occurred if it had been a magpie or a crow.

Boris would at least have to the size of a lynx to take on a parrot.

                    Elbows up!

Honestly, I was expecting anything, and I mean anything, but was not expecting a picture of George's p*ssy.
