This woman has destroyed her career in politics, perhaps in nursing, and perhaps her family life as well.
Of course the "other" media will focus on how Republicans are "pouncing" and "seizing" on this misadventure. The New York Times called it a "leak."
I can think of few things less capable of being characterized as an “invasion of privacy” than this situation. Mrs. Gibson made herself rather overly available to viewers — in fact charged quite a lot of money for it — and anybody who has so freely sold so much of themselves to so many strangers in such a public way cannot claim surprise to find it immediately being resold on the market when its value is the highest.
Another question the RWEC brings up: Why did the Democrats not do some research into this candidate and discover she's a sex-worker? Perhaps George Santos has an idea...

Keep in mind she's running for a state house seat. Far less scrutiny than US Congress.

Politico wants to know why people shouldn’t vote for her? Well, if she’s willing to fuck on camera for a little money, then I imagine she’s willing to cast her vote in particular ways for even more money.

I'd be more worried about her lack of judgement than her inclination to do inappropriate things for money, which isn't exactly an unusual characteristic amongst politicians.

It did, however, make Gibson aware of the videos, which she appears to have had taken down in the days after the Associated Press alerted her that they had been discovered.
The outlet did not cover the videos until September 12, after it had already been reported by others.

WASHINGTON — Two weeks before Virginia's Nov. 7 election, Virginia's Republican Party has sent voters flyers containing explicit content about Democrat Susanna Gibson, who is mired in a sex scandal while running for a seat in the Virginia House of Delegates, an NBC affiliate in Virginia reported Tuesday.
Gibson allegedly live-streamed sex acts with her husband on a public pornographic website before becoming a candidate. The flyers, which warned on the envelope that "explicit material" was enclosed, included alleged screenshots and quotes from Gibson about sex as well as excerpted text from news stories on the scandal, according to local affiliate WWBT in Richmond. The mailer envelope says the flyer was paid for by the Republican Party of Virginia, according to the affiliate. It also contained the warning in red lettering, “Do not open if you are under the age of 18.”
She was polling -11 to the Republican candidate before the idiots decided to mail softcore porn to every home in the district…
