In Indiana, yes. The chief religion is basketball.

I just found a mistake in the movie. They’re in the regionals and at one point it’s 33 to 37. A minute later it’s 27 to 35.

This is one more on a long list of movies that you have not seen, that must be seen several times.

Watch Hoosiers as soon as possible. You can probably find a DVD for $2 in any thrift shop.

Most people you know have at least half the script memorized.

        It is brilliant.

Yeah, second that. It's just one of those you gotta see.

        Please love yourself.

Sometimes it's worth it. At least, that's what she said.

I haven't seen it. I plan to one day. I presume they have edited the start to provide a Land Acknowledgement for the Indian(a)s who we stole the land from.

Yes, this how all film makers should begin their work, they can't refuse.

Yes I watched it on PBS Saturday Night Cinema. I thought Gene Hackman was good but Dennis Hopper was the star attraction in his now legendary self destructive way.

As for the story itself it left me pretty cold. It was another folksy melodrama. Preferred the movie Seabiscuit much more when it came out. Maybe I just prefer dark horse stories to yarns about Cinderella basketball teams.

Nope and if it were about a hockey or curling team my reaction would probably be the same cold indifference.

A really great movie. Have you read Hillenbrand's book upon which the movie was based?

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.
