@jon-nyc Fortunately, since it's up to Congress, I think Thanksgiving should be safe. Wouldn't want to run for office as "the one who voted against Thanksgiving". But you're right, an inevitable protest, in addition to @Larry 's annual long post about it, will come. Luckily, I think Columbus Day is higher on the chopping block list, despite that "Native" Americans also committed the same acts, good and bad, as Columbus.
