QUOTE
David Shafer, a former chairman of Georgia's Republican Party and one of the 19 people charged in the Georgia 2020 election interference case, claimed in a Monday court filing that he and the other Republican electors who attempted to falsely certify a victory for Donald Trump were acting at the direction of the former president. As defendants in the far-reaching indictment begin to surrender to authorities ahead of the Friday deadline, "Shafer's position signals that some may be poised to turn on the former president," Axios reports.
"Mr. Shafer and the other Republican Electors in the 2020 election acted at the direction of the incumbent President and other federal officials," lawyers for the former GOP chairman wrote in the filing.

I would be curious to see how he was pressured to falsely certify Trump's victory.

I would like to read some speculative fiction about what would have happened if Trump managed to get these people to file fraudulent paperwork. I still don’t suspect any of it leads to him being President. I’m just curious which other checks and balances would have come into play.

In a perfect phone call, I’m sure.

I wonder how long this trial will take.
I also would be surprised if his lawyers don't appeal, considering the amount of discovery they would likely want.

Wrong indictment! I know, it’s hard to keep track.

Mug shot.
Compare this to the one the campaign is using.
At first I thought they just photoshopped the lard off the ass.
But even the tie is different. Clearly he practiced the pose, they must have photographed them and photoshopped from one of those.
Makes sense, they’d have creative control, unlike his booking.

The over/under on his weight got the most attention but there was also betting on his tie being blue or red.
I wonder if he wore the mixed tie to screw the book? And if so, I wonder how much he made off of it?

According to comments above in this forum thread from @George-K and @Axtremus , the picture of President Trump in a stripe tie is not the real mug shot.

One comment I saw said, "Everyone will get what they want and see what they want to see."
