Probably so. I'd see him as a very good AG.

        Reasons:

        1. Ivy League and Harvard Law. Puts him on the same level as the "best".
        2. Clerked for Rehnquist. Knows how SCOTUS works.
        3. Youngest state solicitor general. Ever.
        4. Been in Washington long enough to know how to work the system.
        5. Pugnacious temperment.
        6. Wants a legacy. Should be on SCOTUS, but probably won't get the chance. Here is his chance.

Is that a good thing or a bad thing?

Something I dont agree with, but I hear people complaining about "drain the swamp". Is he included in that description?

He is just another swamp monster, for sure. Heck, I think most people (including the GOP) don't like him, so he would be a good top cop. Anyway... he's just as political as the left. A good AG would someone like Barr. There is a reason he served 3 times I think (?), for Reagan, Bush, and Trump.

Barr didn't do shit to reform a known compromised department. I don't want Mr. Nice Guy. I want somebody with a streak of imperious mean, and I think Cruz has it. The Bushies did a great job fucking up the Just-us Department by insisting that Democrats wanted the same thing they did - Blind Justice. Didn't take Obama long to prove that was just simmering horseshit. They weaponized it then and they are doing a better job of it now.

An outsider can't do this job. It's got to be somebody that knows the ropes and can hit the ground running.

Based on his interrogations of people testifying before Congress, the guy is very smart and a good speaker. You’d think he was a total clown, after the mind fuck that is a run for President.

                Education is extremely important.
