US Sues SpaceX

Seems that its hiring is discriminatory, because it's not hiring asylum seekers and refugees.

Musk even wrote in a post on X — formerly Twitter — that “US law requires at least a green card to be hired at SpaceX, as rockets are considered advanced weapons technology.”
Seems plausible to me. The US military certainly has similar restrictions.
EDIT: OK, just read the DOJ's complaint. Paragraphs 24-26 address that point, saying export control laws' definition for "US persons" include asylees and refugees.

Interesting comments in this thread:
Musk:
SpaceX was told repeatedly that hiring anyone who was not a permanent resident of the United States would violate international arms trafficking law, which would be a criminal offense.
We couldn’t even hire Canadian citizens, despite Canada being part of NORAD!
Scott Manley addresses Ax's comment:
Many important scientists who worked on the Manhattan project were refugees who escaped Nazi Germany
