    That's pretty old for a beginner, but don't let her get discouraged.

    Education is extremely important.

          Assuming normal or average development, 5 years is old enough to start piano lessons, no problem.

            And then...I had to swap piano teachers. I went from the computers and digital keyboards to full Old Skool... One-on-one, acoustic piano,damn the chords and learn the notes.

            Been doing this since June and I can already see the improvement.

              5 sounds about right. You’ll know soon enough whether there’s sufficient or sustainable interest to continue with music.
