There is only one international system for chess boards. The abcd/1234 system. No more knight to rook 2 or whatever.

It’s not the fucking metric system. Stop being American provincials

The old system went out of date fifty years ago

Reminds me of how my piano teacher can only think in do re mi for notes and laughs at me when I say G for sol

      Well, I don't really play..haven't for years, so I wouldn't know.

I don’t play much either. But I’m great at international standards and measurements

Knight to f2, then mate in the next round with Queen h1.

@Doctor-Phibes I think Rf2 would accomplish the same thing but if the knight moves to h2 the queen would capture and mate

No, because the King can then take the black queen.

The obvious answer is to simply demand the racist homophobe white king surrender in the name of equity. You are a black queen, after all…

The white knight blocks the queen at H2. She can’t get to H1. If she takes the knight at H2, it’s check but then she’s taken by the K at H2, safe from the knight.

Based on puzzleology, I guess Klaus' answer, while tempting, actually doesn't work, and even leads to a mate of black.

B-e3 wins. White has to give up the Queen. If Rxe3, then Q-h1 followed by Rxf1 mate.

I looked up the actual game online because I'm a saddo, and black actually played R-f2, which wasn't the best move, but black won anyway after white blundered with n-d3
