      Most disturbing.

Multiple warnings of potential trouble. Talk of shutting down the capital (city). 19 known terrorists known to be converging on the building. And this cop was told nothing about it.

Denial of National Guard by Sergeants at arms of House and Senate because the "optics" would be bad.

This guy has call logs, times of asking for support, and other documentation.

Also, he comments on the Antifa/BLM attacks on the White House - he claims that all charges were dropped.

The intentional lack of security, and the 4D chess outcome of that lack. The Democrats are going to be ginning up the base for generations, because America didn't have security there to turn the riot into a non-event.

        Education is extremely important.

The President offered the National Guard.

              What more do you want?

"Fact Checkers" claim there is no record of him making such a request before Jan 6. I don't know if he did the day off, however.

But the fact that the Chief of Capitol Police was rebuffed in his request is damning.

The problem with much of this post-mortem, is that the American public will simply not pay attention to a more nuanced Truth. The Dems got there "the fustest with the mostest" and controlled the message totally by broadcasting a dog & pony show, orchestrated by a partisan Dem committee abetted by two trump-hating GOP hacks (neither of which are now in office and will probably never see another elected office in their lifetimes).

The American public's span of attention is rather short. These new revelations, while damning to anybody that actually studies politics, will roll like urine off a duck's back (the American public) and the duck won't even know it was pissed on.

Especially that segment of the population easily amused by bread and circuses.

But that's the beauty of it, Jolly.
There is/was a Master Of the Game, and you summed it up in one word: "Pelosi."
She will play the game at the expense of the country, with that sick smile on her face. She would not nuke the country to get her way (if possible), but she would be happy to have people kill each other with the same outcome. I think she loves to see those beneath her suffer.
As I think about it some more, I don't think I like her.

I think the Pelosi may be the most recent and possibly the best argument I could make, to enact laws to keep Congress Critters from enriching themselves at the public's expense.

The Democrats could conceivably bear some responsibility for the lack of security, but to state that Pelosi is primarily responsible for this shit-show seems to rather be overlooking the big fat orange Republican elephant in the living room.

A large group of Trump supporters harmlessly invade the Capitol, exercising their constitutional rights to wander around the building, doing absolutely nothing wrong.

                                        And it's the Democrats fault.

                                        I was only joking

I do believe Trump said "peacefully".

I do find that in marked comparison to the Floyd riots.
