George - serious question for you.

In 2022, Saudi Arabia transferred $2 billion to Jared Kushner’s new company.

    Should there be an indictment?

Yeah, I've seen that said, many times.

Start the investigation. Democrats hold the Senate, and have for a long time.

You need to read the indictment so you sound less stupid.

In February 2014, Russian oligarch Yelena Baturina transfers $3.5 billion.

In April and May 2014, Ukrainian oligarch Mykola Zlochevsky places Hunter Biden and Devon Archer on the board of Burisma, Zlochevsky’s corrupt energy company, at a cool $1 million per year each. Archer is Hunter’s partner in the “Rosemont Seneca” business entities used to transfer money to the Bidens, and he is well aware of Joe Biden’s deep involvement in the family business — because Joe Biden is the business.

In April 2014, a Kazakhstani oligarch wires Hunter $143,300 for a sports car.

Former federal prosecutor McCarthy should know none of these are crimes.

I don't believe he actually says those are crimes - yet. He's pointing out the quid while the quo has not yet been disclosed.

But, here's a nice summary of how this has gone so far.

        • Joe Biden didn’t even know what Hunter was doing
        • Joe Biden has a vague sense but never discussed business with Hunter
        • Joe Biden never talked to Hunter’s business partners
        • Joe Biden talked to them, but only about the weather
        • Joe Biden met with Hunter’s business partners but it had nothing to do with Hunter
        • Prove that those millions of dollars went directly to Joe or it is all fine and dandy.

It's all smoke and no fire so far. But there's a lot of smoke.

I refer you to John Kass's column I linked a couple of days ago:

There will be no signed receipt for services offered. The millions of dollars were a retainer, but Biden, because he's moral and upstanding, would be shocked to learn he owed his client a favor. A favor he certainly never repaid.

A question: What, exactly, was Hunter Biden doing that was worth $20MM?

Maybe even jon would admit that he was overtly selling the appearance of American political influence.

We are then supposed to believe that the appearance was only that, an appearance, with no substance behind it.

It's called "parody". Like a parody of someone who claims to have read a shelf full of philosophy books, but who would have difficulty writing more than a paragraph summary of the ideas therein.

As for sources, sure we have access to the same ones but we both know you’ve not read the indictment.

I never claimed to, I'll let experts read it and tell me about it. Just like you.

Granted, I believe your eyes have passed over the indictment. It's basically pornography for you.

We don't, we just move forward with an adult understanding that if Biden owes such a favor, and can exert influence in a plausibly deniable way to repay it, he would.

Wife of Moscow's mayor makes a gift to Hunter Biden.

                                Russia invades Ukraine.

Said wife does not end up on sanctioned oligarch list.

Are there other oligarchs who have not given anything to Hunter Biden and still not end up on sanctioned oligarch list?

I'll have to check the log book of bribes to the Biden family, and cross reference against donor outcomes. Let me make some phone calls.
