Devon Archer testified Monday that Hunter Biden and top executives of Burisma Holdings "called D.C." in 2015 to ask the Obama administration to help fire the Ukrainian prosecutor investigating the firm, a source familiar with his testimony told Fox News Digital.
He also testified about an interaction in December 2015, involving Burisma CEO Mykola Zlochevsky and Vadym Pozharski — an executive at the firm.

Archer said Zlochevsky and Pozharski "placed constant pressure on Hunter Biden to get help from D.C." in getting Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin ousted. Shokin was investigating Burisma for corruption.According to the source, Archer testified that in December 2015, Hunter Biden, Zlochevsky and Pozharski "called D.C." to discuss the matter. Archer testified that Biden, Zlochevsky and Pozharski stepped away to make the call.
It is unclear if Hunter and the Burisma executives spoke directly to Joe Biden on the matter.
At the time, though, Joe Biden was in charge of U.S.-Ukraine policy for the Obama administration.
A source said that Archer testified that just days later, on Dec. 9, 2015, Joe Biden traveled to Ukraine and made a speech. Biden, during the speech, said the government needed to fix the Ukrainian prosecutor's office.
"This is the most revealing aspect of Archer’s testimony and maybe the most important in our entire investigation so far," House Judiciary Committee Jim Jordan told Fox News Digital.
The testimony comes after Fox News Digital reported on an unclassified version of an FBI-generated FD-1023 form, which contained allegations that Joe Biden and Hunter Biden allegedly "coerced" Zlochevsky to pay them millions of dollars in exchange for their help in getting Shokin fired.
Biden has acknowledged that when he was vice president, he successfully pressured Ukraine to fire prosecutor Shokin. At the time, Shokin was investigating Burisma Holdings, and at the time, Hunter had a highly lucrative role on the board receiving thousands of dollars per month.
The then-vice president threatened to withhold $1 billion of critical U.S. aid if Shokin was not fired.

Exactly. As I posted earlier, it's really common for a drug-addicted, dishonorably-discharged, (alleged) felon, to put his father, the Vice-President of the United States, on speakerphone during a business meeting to discuss the weather and other pleasantries.

The key question is whether Hunter was selling the illusion of influence or whether his dad truly was involved.

Biden campaign lashes out at New York Post
Joe Biden’s campaign is punching back at a New York Post story that alleged a direct link between the Democratic presidential nominee and his son’s business dealings.
Top Biden advisers who staffed him during his vice presidency, citing their own recollections as well as a review of Biden’s official schedules, sharply rejected the Post’s suggestion that Biden met with a representative of Ukrainian energy company Burisma Holdings in 2015. And social media companies throttled sharing of the article on their platforms, fueling complaints from conservatives that information critical of the Bidens was being censored.
The story, which ran on the front page of the New York tabloid under the banner headline “Biden Secret E-mails,” accused the then-vice president of meeting Vadym Pozharskyi, a top adviser to Burisma, whose board Biden’s son had joined at the time. Allies of President Donald Trump seized on the purported revelation to argue that it proved Biden had abused his position to intervene with the Ukrainian government on his son’s behalf — and that he had lied when he insisted he had steered clear of his son’s business dealings.
In a statement, Biden campaign spokesman Andrew Bates said, “we have reviewed Joe Biden’s official schedules from the time and no meeting, as alleged by the New York Post, ever took place.”

A later Washington Post article in 2021 acknowledged that Joe Biden might have stopped by despite the prior denials. However, it reported that a “White House individual with knowledge of Joe Biden’s schedules said the decision to see Father Alex [Alex Karloutsos]” at the dinner was made late that day after the schedule was completed but Biden “didn’t even sit down” and that he “was not part of the dinner or part of the dinner discussion.” Again, problem solved.

Former Biden associate Devon Archer just told Congress Joe Biden did attend, did sit down, and did engage all of their clients, including “Vadym P. from Burisma.” Archer said that, when Biden arrived, Biden “shook everybody’s hand” and joined their conversation. Moreover, emails show that it was long known that Karloutsos would be there in attendance.
Archer’s account supports an April 2015 email from Burisma board adviser Vadym Pozharskyi, who wrote Hunter Biden the day after the dinner to thank him for allowing him to meet his father and spend “some time together.” “It’s realty [sic] an honor and pleasure.” Pozharskyi added, “as we spoke yesterday evening, would be great to meet today for a quick coffee,” he continued. “What do you think? I could come to you [sic] office somewhere around noon or so, before or on my way to airport.”
A month before the dinner, Hunter and Archer discussed the dinner guests, including “Pozharskyi,” who was listed as “Vadim” and “Vadym.” Archer added “Obviously save a seat for your guy.” Biden associates were told not to refer to Joe Biden by name and referred to him as “your guy,” “my guy” or “the Big Guy.”
