    Voltarin cream. Now OTC.

I used to feel old only some of the time. Now, my awareness seems to be more consistent. Try Arnica (arnicare) for the thumb. It helps me.

          I guess I'm officially old.

The left thumb has been hurting for months. That is where the force of about 80 golf shots goes every morning.

The x-ray makes it official, I'm old.

So now there is a whole bunch of new stuff I might buy at Amazon. The copper compression gloves look interesting.

Have you tried using fewer swings during a round?

Actually I was thinking of strokes warming up on the practice tee. But I have eliminated most of that for now.

79 this AM with 35 putts, acceptable, not great.

Wow, nice breaking 80! What yardage? 35 putts means you had a nice drive/iron game in regulation, and could've had a few more putts drop to really go low. What's your personal best? My best rounds are 76, 78, 80, 81, and 82.

Wow that is great. My 76 was a bit of a fluke. I had been trying to break 80 for a while and was only able to get to 84 or 82, then that round I think I drained 5 birdies, including a 20-footer on the last hole (not that I needed it). Sometimes it comes down to just getting the ball on the green in regulation and getting lucky on a few longer putts.

You can lookup anyone's latest scores, as long as they post them to GHIN and you have a USGA GHIN account.

                        Jack hasn't posted much lately.

As I said a while ago, hold my Geritol.

I had my right 4th finger injected yesterday - triggering.

I once went around the entirety of Saint Andrews without playing a single stroke. The locals seemed a bit pissed off. Apparently, mountain bikes aren't really a thing up there.

                              I was only joking

I got the Cortisone Injection at the base of the thumb. It won't cure the arthritis, but it could stop the pain for maybe 6 months, works longer for some people, shorter for others.

                                    Sorry, missed your question.

On the left, it was the middle finger. The first injection lasted about 6 months, and the 2nd about the same. However, after two injections, perhaps three, surgery is recommended.
