That's some pretty nice equipment but nothing I would purchase.
Here I am in Chad's listening room with my 1959 Original pressing of Miles Davis, Kind of Blue. We played it after it went through the cleaning process of his $6,500 Clearaudio record cleaning machine.
The Turntable is from Germany. AMG's ( no relation to Mercedes/AMG) top of the line that kicks the ass of that Linn in every regard. My VPI Classic is a better Turntable vs. That Linn. The AMG is $34k. It has a DS Audio Optical Cartridge at around $3k, the phono preamp is over $8k. That doesn't include the stereo preamp and amp from Audio Research topping $40k, running through multi thousand dollar interconnect and speaker cables. Then the speakers. Sonos Faber Aida towers that cost $140k. They were just installed on June 18th.
He also has a $20k CD transport, $18k DAC and an engineered listening room with several thousand dollars worth of sound treatment.
I have joined his "listening group" that get together every couple of weeks for a couple hours of listening. We did about 4 hours one night listening to a variety of music using CDs, Vinyl and Hi-Res Streaming. We are meeting again this Sunday.
It is without a doubt the most incredible listening experience.

Woah that is nice. Looks even like some acoustic (sound absorbing) abstract art on the wall too?

It really is. Chad had a consulting firm come in to design the sound treatment. I don't think I will ever know anyone with a better system. It makes my system look like a transistor radio. lol

@mark That is an amazing set up!!!! I am sure that it sounds fantastic!!
(I have a friend who used to like high end stuff (but nowhere near that high end), and he had little supports to keep the speaker wires off the ground to (I assume) reduce resistance leak maybe?)

I have a friend (no, not @mark) who is a serious audiophile. We were talking about some of the ridiculous prices for
highultra-high equipment. I commented about cables for speakers, and he said that there are people who will pay thousands of dollars for cables. Not sure I understand that - after all, electrons are electrons, and I'm not sure they move slower through cheaper cables. But, then, I'm just an old geezer who wears hearing aids
which I only use to listen to audiobooks so shut up.
