Taylor Swift mania in Cincinnati
-
The Princess is a fan, so we are watching live streams of the show in Cincinnati. She is very pretty and very talented, but if I’d paid the price for a seat I’d feel very robbed. She’s a very good lyricist, but the music is a snooze fest. The stage, which is the biggest I’ve ever seen, dwarfs the show.

My girls are Swifities as well. I once took a group of middle school girls to the Staple Center (now known as Crypto.com Arena) for their first concert. The two things that struck me was 1) how scripted her show was, with the obligatory hand heart sign, the fake ingenue "is this all for me" look. And 2) she did a lot of preening because she can't dance. Especially when she was next to an un-tatted Justin Beiber, who made a guest appearance. This was about 10 years ago; maybe she's gotten better. She is a great lyricist but I wouldn't go to her show again. The girls had a great time, though.

I've never listened to
Dark Side of the MoonTaylor Swift. Am I missing something? -
I like Taylor Swift. I think she is very talented as a songwriter/musician. I think she is even more talented and smart as a business lady. She knows exactly how to market herself without overselling herself.
And I agree with @Mik She does seem genuine.
@George-K If you want to listen to an album of hers that you may like, you should try one of her last two Folklore or Evermore. Moved away from the "pop" sound to more of a folkish "dreamy" sound.
Here is an example song from the Evermore album
