Weirdest dream I've had in a while.
It's 6AM and I've just shown up at work, about to change and make rounds on the first cases of the day. I'm in the locker room, putting on my scrubs, and I realize that my OR shoes are not there. I'll have to wear my street shoes (with covers) when I walk into the OR. However, for walking around the hospital, I don't need to cover them.
I hear a voice in the locker room...
"You better cover those shoes, those are some ugly, ugly-ass shoes. Look at that - penny loafers. Really? Black penny loafers, with a tassel on them?
"Yeah, it's all I've got."
"You should be ashamed of those. You're not really gonna let your patients see you wearing them, are you?"
As I walk from the locker room to Same Day Surgery, I keep getting harassed about how "ugly" my shoes are.
Oh, who was harassing me?
