Jon-nyc scholars have been particularly inept at getting the word out about the Halliburton employment.

    Education is extremely important.

Little known jon-nyc fact: I spent half a year in Houston working for Haliburton (as a consultant) while Cheney was CEO.

Yup. Just common sense that there would be an equation between the two. In addition, based on the earlier sicknesses, it seems like black people are getting it more frequently unfortunately. And there is probably a higher level of black people in the marches.

Of course. SARS-COV-2 doesn’t think black lives matter.

So why are we only seeing the surge in certain areas? DC had over 200,000 protestors. Their increases have been around .35%. Philadelphia had over 100,000 protestors and their cases are still declining. Pointing to that as the issue for Houston when the rest of Texas (including rural areas) are also seeing increases doesn't feel right to me...

Anyone who points to it as ‘the’ issue is obviously politically motivated and can be safely ignored.

Um i thought it was the optics that mattered as it caused people to behave in certain ways. For example if you say inject bleach well you might start that pandemic.

I'm not sure I know what your point is but its more than optics. The protests surely spread disease.
