    Seen on FB:

OK I understand if you do not want to post this. But behind me is 1 of the most obnoxious people i have ever been on the train with. She is making a cell phone call on speaker phone. So we get to hear both sides of her conversation. She has been talking to her cats, oh my. Her voice is high pitch and hurts my ears. Oh well. I am the train and will go sit in the observation car to get away from her.

The responses range from the obvious to the hysterical:

"Tell your car attendant or your conductor. The rule is to go downstairs with phone conversations"

"You should have recorded for us to listen to since she obviously wanted it to be made public. Next time stand up and start recording"

"If they use speaker phone join in on the conversation, they usually turn it off pretty quickly "

" yeah, why not get up and laugh when one of them says something funny and make it obvious that you are listening to the conversation. If she complains, you can give her a look of innocent surprise and let her know that the Assumption was the conversation was open to anyone since she was using speakerphone. Just say it very sweetly and smile"

" like: "oh, what do you feed your cats? Do they shed? Do they play well together?" Yes, insert yourself in the convo and see how long it lasts!"

"You should, for sure, just join in on the conversation. Speak in "meows" if you have to. Make. Her. Uncomfortable."

"Now look here, you Baltic gas passer... " - Mik, 6/14/08

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.
