University of Cincinnati says they will take Marge Schott's name off the stadium she donated the $2 million dollars to build because she was a racist.

So they will dishonor her generosity by taking her name off, but they still agree to play in a stadium racist money built? Unless they want to be accused of huge hypocrisy, tear down the stadium. Either that or leave the poor woman's name on it as they committed.

This is the kind of window dressing nonsense that is being offered up. Because it's cheap.

No. She's deceased and her foundation has said they won't ask for the money back. Despite her flaws, which are only known because she spoke openly, she was hugely generous to Cincinnati and at one time was a hero for keeping the Cincinnati Reds in town, and for spending the money to bring us a World Series winner.

People have flaws. There is no evidence I am aware of that her feelings, her upbringing, ever influenced her actions.

But if you are going to stand for something, then stand for it honestly. UC is not doing that.

              Ain’t that the truth.
