Income equity in heterosexual marriages
-
More and more heterosexual marriages achieve income equity (husband and wife generate roughly the same amount of income).

Among those equitable marriages, the husband still spends more time on paid work and leisure while the wife spends more time on housework and caregiving.

Lots of other interesting stuff at the Pew Research page.

"Heavier burden at home" is an interesting phrase. Heavier than the husband? Perhaps, but the husband is carrying a heavier paid work burden. Further, is it heavier compared to "previous years" or are mothers actually carrying less of a burden at home compared to those that do not have paid work? And even further, what is a woman?

We have an eagletarian marriage.
She has eyes like a hawk, and will frequently pounce upon me from a great height, seemingly out of the blue.
Other than that, I cannot comment.
